Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to join our team at Putzmeister India. As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will be responsible for optimizing our manufacturing processes, improving productivity, and ensuring product quality. This is a full-time position based in Goa, India.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• More than 10 years of experience in a manufacturing engineering role
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and techniques
• Experience in designing manufacturing equipment and fixtures
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Familiarity with Lean manufacturing principles and tools
• Good understanding of quality management systems
• Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Roles and Responsibilities

• To improve manufacturing processes.
• Development of layout for future process
• Know of ROI. IRR calculation for business case
•  Knowledge of developing business case
•  Conduct cost analysis for manufacturing processes and recommend cost-saving measures.
• Work on projects to reduce production costs without compromising quality.
• Calculation of timing used in different manufacturing operations.
• Finding out NVA.
• Reduction of NVA.
• Finding out the opportunity for mfg. process lead time reduction.
• Preparation of SOP’s.
• Preparation of OPL.
• 5s implementation & guiding to production.
• Manage manufacturing projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
• Coordinate with various departments to achieve project objectives.
