Should have worked in a similar cosmetic/oil industry for a minimum of 7 years.·

Job Description:

Require R&D Manager who will develop the entire range of Colour cosmetics, cosmetics & personal care products including skin care, hair care, body care, hand care, face care, eye care, men grooming range & home care products. Prepare formulation and create a batch sample. R & D for new products and improving existing range.

Responsibilities

Must have experience in manufacturing of Cosmetics, Shampoo, Creams, Soaps, Body wash Lip balm ,all colour cosmetic products etc Maintain quality records, e.g. online data sheet / lab reports / type test reports, etc., as per scheme of testing / quality assurance plan.

- Complete planning of cosmetics

- Develop new product as per the requirement

- Develop cost effective formulation with superior performance

- Documentation and quality control

- Support in Research and Development

- Testing and Record keeping related to production and samples

Support

- Complete support on existing production formulas and method

- Encouragement in Research and Development activities

- Positive attitude towards challenging tasks

- Apt with computers and Microsoft office

- Interest in Colour cosmetics and personal care industry

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Requires extensive knowledge of cosmetic laboratory formulation practices such as researching formula chemistry, batch monitoring and stability studies
• Requires evaluation of brand products for aesthetics and ingredient trends and criteria that could be used in new formulas
• Must possess good communication skills
• English, Formulation Development, In depth knowledge of raw materials, testing, quality control
• Must be able to prioritize and plan work activities, using time efficiently.

Education:

• Bachelor of Science degree related filed
• Must have minimum of 7 years R&D laboratory and product development experience in a cosmetic manufacturing environment
• Must have working knowledge of WORD and EXCEL.
