Position Overview:

GRG School of Management is seeking a dynamic and visionary leader to serve as the Dean. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record of academic leadership, a passion for education, and the ability to drive the strategic direction of the institution. The Dean will play a crucial role in shaping the academic agenda, fostering a culture of excellence, and enhancing the overall educational experience for students.

Responsibilities:

1. Provide visionary leadership to the School of Management, setting strategic goals and ensuring alignment with the institution's mission.

2. Oversee academic programs, curriculum development, and accreditation processes to maintain high academic standards.

3. Foster a collaborative and inclusive academic environment that promotes research, innovation, and interdisciplinary collaboration.

4. Lead faculty recruitment, development, and evaluation, promoting professional growth and excellence in teaching and research.

5. Collaborate with industry partners to enhance industry-academia relations, facilitating internships, placements, and collaborative research projects.

6. Engage in fundraising activities to support academic initiatives, scholarships, and infrastructure development.

7. Collaborate with other departments within the institution to promote cross-disciplinary collaboration and holistic student development.

8. Represent the school at various forums, conferences, and events to enhance its reputation and visibility.

Qualifications:

1.    A doctoral degree in a relevant field from a recognized institution.

2.    Minimum of 15 years of academic experience with a strong record of research and publications.

3. Significant academic leadership experience, preferably as a Dean or in a similar capacity.

4. Strong record of scholarly achievements, research publications, and contributions to the field of management.

5. Proven ability to inspire and lead a diverse faculty, fostering a culture of academic excellence and innovation.

6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with students, faculty, staff, and external stakeholders.

7. Demonstrated ability to navigate accreditation processes and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

8. Experience in building and maintaining strong relationships with industry partners.
