Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team at PRS Neurosciences. In this role, you will be responsible for providing rehabilitative services to patients with physical, mental, or developmental conditions. The ideal candidate will have a Junior level of experience, with 1 to 3 years of practical experience in the field. This is a full-time position based in Bangalore, Karnataka, India.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy
• Valid license to practice as an Occupational Therapist
• Junior level of experience, with 1 to 3 years of practical experience
• Strong knowledge of occupational therapy principles and techniques
• Ability to assess patients' physical, cognitive, and emotional abilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Passion for helping individuals with physical and mental challenges

Roles and Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical, cognitive, and emotional abilities
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on patients' specific needs and goals
• Provide occupational therapy interventions to improve patients' functional abilities
• Monitor and evaluate patients' progress during therapy sessions
• Educate patients and their families about proper techniques and strategies for daily activities
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to create comprehensive care plans
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of patients' progress and treatment
• Stay informed about the latest research and advancements in occupational therapy

Basic qualification – Bachelor in Occupational therapy (BOT) and/or Master’s in Occupational therapy (MOT).
