Job Overview

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Physical Design Engineer to join our team. This is a full-time, mid-level position located in Bangalore or Hyderabad, requiring a minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience. The candidate will play a key role in our expanding business operations and contribute to our technical prowess in the VLSI and semiconductor industry.

Qualifications and Skills

• Strong expertise in VLSI Design (Mandatory skill)
• Proficient in Physical Design (Mandatory skill)
• Experience with Verilog, a hardware description language used to model electronic systems
• Proven experience in ASIC Design, working on creating application-specific integrated circuits

Roles and Responsibilities

• Execute physical design projects and meet project deadlines with high quality
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including verification, implementation, and manufacturing teams
• Optimize VLSI designs for performance, area, and power
• Engage in floorplanning, power planning, and clock tree synthesis
• Ensure the integrity and functionality of physical designs through comprehensive testing
• Mentor junior engineers and provide guidance to support their learning and development
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry best practices, tools, and techniques
• Contribute to the continual improvement of design processes and methodologies
