Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled DFT Engineer to join our team at Proxelera. This is a full-time, mid-level position based in Bengaluru or Hyderabad. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience in DFT and a strong background in the semiconductor industry.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proven experience in Design For Test (DFT) methodologies and practices with a minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience (Mandatory skill).
• Strong knowledge and experience in Automatic Test Pattern Generation (ATPG).
• Hands-on experience with SCAN insertion and SCAN chain operations.
• Expertise in Memory Built-In Self-Test (MBIST) for memory testing and repair.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as TCL for automating design tasks.
• Ability to debug and optimize DFT implementations for complex VLSI designs.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Develop and implement DFT architecture and strategies for VLSI designs.
• Perform SCAN insertion and validate SCAN chain operations.
• Generate and validate ATPG patterns to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Integrate and verify MBIST controllers in the design for efficient memory testing.
• Write and maintain scripts to automate various DFT tasks using TCL or other scripting languages.
• Collaborate with design, verification, and product engineering teams to optimize DFT implementations.
• Analyze and resolve DFT-related issues during design and validation stages.
• Contribute to improving DFT methodologies and workflows to enhance overall efficiency.
