Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated DFT Engineer to join our team at Proxelera. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing and verifying Design for Test (DFT) techniques for VLSI designs. This is a full-time, mid-level position based in our Bangalore or Hyderabad offices. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 years of experience in the industry.

Qualifications and Skills

• Expertise in Design for Testability (Mandatory skill)
• Proficiency in Scan Insertion (Mandatory skill)
• Experience with Automatic Test Pattern Generation (ATPG) (Mandatory skill)
• Hands-on experience with JTAG
• Knowledge of Boundary Scan techniques
• Experience with Memory Built-In Self-Test (Memory BIST)
• Proficiency in Logic Built-In Self-Test (Logic BIST)
• Understanding of DFT Architecture principles and implementation

Roles and Responsibilities

• Implement and verify DFT techniques for VLSI designs
• Perform Scan Insertion and manage the associated processes
• Develop and execute ATPG for fault coverage
• Collaborate with design and verification teams to ensure testability
• Integrate JTAG and Boundary Scan into design frameworks
• Develop Memory BIST and Logic BIST solutions
• Participate in the architecture and design reviews to ensure DFT compliance
• Identify and resolve DFT issues during the design and post-silicon stages
