Job Overview

We are seeking a Junior Food and Beverage Controller to join our team in Hyderabad. This is a full-time position ideally suited for a candidate with 1 to 3 years of relevant work experience. The role involves overseeing the control processes related to food and beverage costing, inventory management, and statistical analysis to ensure operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness.


Qualifications and Skills

  • Advanced proficiency in Excel for effective data management and reporting on various financial metrics.
  • Strong understanding of costing principles with the ability to develop and maintain accurate cost calculations.
  • Effective inventory management skills to ensure optimal stock levels and minimize wastage.
  • Ability to perform under pressure and meet tight deadlines while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills for liaising with different departments and presenting financial findings effectively.
  • Highly organized with strong time management skills to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.


Roles and Responsibilities

  • Monitor food and beverage inventory levels and report discrepancies to management.
  • Conduct regular analysis of sales and purchase data to ensure cost control and profitability.
  • Implement efficient stock control methods to minimize overstocking and stockouts.
  • Collaborate with the purchasing department to negotiate and maintain competitive pricing agreements.
  • Prepare detailed reports on inventory turnover, cost of goods sold, and profitability metrics monthly.
  • Develop and maintain costing models to accurately forecast expenses and identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Analyze trends and suggest strategies to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and regulations related to food and beverage procurement and control.

Experience in Hospitality will be added advantage.
