Good Earth Farms is seeking a Junior Cashier for our location in Hyderabad. This is a full-time position, ideal for candidates with 1 to 3 years of experience. The role involves handling cash transactions and providing excellent customer service in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Qualifications and Skills

• Must have experience in cash handling (Mandatory skill) to ensure accurate transactions and smooth daily operations.
• Proficient in customer service to maintain a positive and welcoming experience for all customers visiting the premises.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale systems to efficiently process transactions, returns, and manage pricing information.
• Basic math skills to quickly and accurately handle cash, calculate change, and balance registers at the end of shifts.
• Meticulous attention to detail to ensure all transactions are recorded accurately and any discrepancies are reported promptly.
• Strong organizational skills to manage work duties effectively, from handling transactions to stocking supplies as needed.
• Effective communication skills to interact clearly with customers and team members, ensuring smooth operations and customer satisfaction.
• Adept at problem-solving to address any customer questions or issues and resolve them in a timely and professional manner.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Process cash transactions accurately and efficiently using the company’s point of sale system.
• Provide excellent customer service by greeting and assisting customers with inquiries and purchases.
• Ensure the cash register is balanced at the beginning and end of each shift, reporting any discrepancies to the supervisor.
• Maintain a clean and organized cashier area to ensure a tidy environment for both employees and customers.
• Assist with inventory management by informing supervisors of stock shortages and contributing to restocking efforts.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve overall store performance and customer satisfaction targets.
• Assist in resolving customer complaints, escalating issues to management when necessary for smooth conflict resolution.
• Stay informed about company products and promotions to answer customer queries accurately and provide informed purchase recommendations.
