Job Overview

The ESG Project Intern role at PGEHS is an entry-level position designed for freshers with up to 1 year of experience. Located in Vadodara, this full-time internship offers a unique opportunity to gain practical exposure in environmental, social, and governance (ESG) projects within a dynamic consulting environment. Interns will be engaged in various aspects of project management, engaging with stakeholders, and contributing to sustainability initiatives.

Qualifications and Skills

• Environmental Regulations (Mandatory skill) - A deep understanding of regulatory requirements and legislation related to environmental protection and compliance is essential.
• Research Skills (Mandatory skill) - Ability to conduct thorough research and analyze data to provide insights for ESG Frameworks, Disclosures, Carbon Market etc
• Presentation Skills (Mandatory skill) - Proficiency in crafting and delivering compelling presentations to effectively communicate findings and proposals.
• Sustainability Reporting - Experience or knowledge in preparing sustainability reports, reflecting on environmental and social impacts of operations.
• Data Analysis - Strong analytical skills to interpret complex datasets and provide meaningful ESG insights.
• Project Management - Basic understanding of project management principles to assist in planning and executing ESG projects efficiently.
• Stakeholder Engagement - Capable of effectively communicating and collaborating with diverse stakeholders to advance ESG goals.
• Microsoft Excel & Microsoft Powerpoint - Proficiency for data handling, analysis, and reporting purposes as well as documentation and presentation purpose.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Assist in the planning and execution of various ESG projects under supervision of project managers.
• Conduct research and analysis on pertinent ESG issues to support project objectives and client needs.
• Prepare reports and presentations to communicate project progress, findings, and recommendations effectively.
• Engage with key stakeholders to gather insights and contribute to discussions around sustainable practices.
• Contribute to the development of sustainability reports and ensure compliance with relevant standards and frameworks.
• Support data collection and analysis activities to measure project outcomes and impact.
• Participate in team meetings and collaborate with colleagues to achieve project goals and deliverables.
• Stay updated on the latest trends and best practices in ESG to continually enhance skill sets and knowledge.
