Front-End Developer – Mid-Level

Technical Skills needed

Desired skills:

·        Strong Coding Skills, should be able to convert Idea on Paper to Code

·        Programming Languages: JavaScript (must have) and one other (Python or Java)

·        Passion for creating efficient & scalable web interfaces

·        Good Experience with JavaScript

·        Strong computer science fundamentals in design, data structures, and problem solving

·        Strong Knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming as well as Functional Programming, JavaScript Design Patterns, Coding Best Practices

·        Understanding of internet and web technologies such as HTTP

·        Good Understanding of Web Services/APIs. REST API Calls, JSON, Postman/Curl/Insomnia

·        Strong Unit Testing and Debugging skills

·        Drive independently a project from inception to production deployment with a strong focus on performance and robustness

·        Willing to learn, grasp & quickly adapt needed cutting-edge tools & technologies in shorter timeframe

·        Work effectively with cross-functional teams to develop features

·        Provide support for production deployments

Must have:

·        Build pixel-perfect, robust, and accessible user interfaces on the web

·        2+ years of experience in multi-tier web architecture

·        Experience in Single Page Application architecture

·        Experience developing application using front-end frameworks like React Backbone

·        Proficient in at least one JavaScript framework like Angular, React, Backbone, or equivalent

·        Proficient in Typescript, HTML, CSS3 usage in building large scale applications

·        JavaScript Package Management (npm or yarn)

·        Familiarity with Bootstrap UI & Material UI design systems

·        Working knowledge of one or more JavaScript Testing Frameworks like Jest, Mocha, Karma, Jasmine etc

Nice to have:

·        Experience with React Ecosystem Libraries like React Router, Redux, Mobx etc

·        Knowledge of Visualization/Charting Libraries is a BIG plus. Candidate will have to work on Visualization, Dashboards & Reporting

·        Experience in modern Web Development Tools like Babel, Webpack, Gulp, Grunt etc.

·        Experience with Cloud, Docker and K8s environments

·        Working Understanding of CI/CD pipelines

·        Working knowledge of GraphQL, NoSQL Database Systems – MongoDB, Redis, Kafka etc.
