Job Description: WordPress & PHP Full-Stack Developer

Position Overview: We are looking for a talented and experienced WordPress & PHP Full-Stack Developer to join our team. This role demands a developer who can independently handle both the front-end and back-end aspects of web development. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in PHP and WordPress, enabling them to create custom solutions and dynamic websites. They should be proficient in transforming Figma or other design files into high-quality, SEO-friendly, responsive websites. Key Responsibilities:

Full-Stack Development

• PHP Development: Write clean, well-structured PHP code to create robust and scalable back-end functionality for custom applications and WordPress websites.
• WordPress Customization: Develop custom themes and plugins from scratch, utilizing PHP to extend WordPress core functionalities. Modify existing themes/plugins as per client requirements.
• Database Management: Work with MySQL to manage data storage, retrieval, and manipulation, optimizing database interactions to improve site performance.
• Integration of APIs: Use PHP to integrate external APIs (e.g., payment gateways, social media APIs) for added site functionality and seamless third-party service connections.

Front-End Development

• HTML/CSS Conversion: Convert Figma or Adobe XD designs into pixel-perfect HTML/CSS templates, ensuring responsiveness across all devices.
• JavaScript Integration: Use JavaScript and jQuery to enhance website interactivity, animations, and UX-focused features.
• Performance Optimization: Optimize front-end code for faster loading times, using best practices like lazy loading, minification, and asynchronous loading where needed.

SEO & Website Performance Optimization

• SEO Best Practices: Structure websites with SEO-friendly code, implementing metadata, schema markup, alt tags, and other elements to boost search engine visibility.
• Optimization Tools: Use tools like Google PageSpeed Insights to monitor and improve site performance, implementing techniques such as image compression, caching, and minification.
• On-Page SEO Elements: Develop SEO-friendly URLs, ensure logical internal linking, and create user-friendly site architectures to improve SEO and user experience.

Client Communication & Project Understanding

• Requirements Gathering: Work closely with clients to understand their business objectives, website requirements, and technical specifications.
• Technical Consulting: Provide guidance and suggestions to clients, helping them understand the benefits of certain features, functionalities, and design choices.
• Progress Updates: Keep clients updated on project milestones, deliverables, and timelines, addressing any questions or feedback they may have.
• Training & Support: After project completion, provide training to clients to help them manage content updates or minor changes on their site.

Project Management & Delivery

• Time Management: Efficiently handle multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines without compromising quality.
• Quality Control: Conduct thorough testing to identify and fix bugs, ensuring cross-browser compatibility and responsiveness across devices.
• Documentation: Document code, project workflows, and custom solutions, allowing for easy future updates and modifications.

Maintenance & Ongoing Support

• Post-Launch Monitoring: After deploying a project, monitor site performance and address any issues that arise.
• Security Updates: Ensure that WordPress and custom PHP applications are secure, regularly updating plugins, themes, and PHP configurations to prevent vulnerabilities.
• Long-Term Improvements: Analyze website performance data to identify opportunities for future enhancements in speed, SEO, or user experience.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Technical Proficiency:
• In-depth experience with PHP programming, particularly in developing custom solutions and applications.
• Strong command of WordPress development, including custom themes, plugins, and full-stack integrations.
• Expertise in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
• Knowledge of MySQL and database management, including optimizing queries and ensuring data integrity.
• Familiarity with integrating third-party APIs and working with RESTful APIs.
• SEO Awareness:
• Understanding of on-page SEO fundamentals, including keywords, metadata, and site structure.
