Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to join our team in Mumbai. This full-time, senior-level position requires a candidate with 7 to 10 years of work experience in procurement. The ideal candidate will possess strong management skills and have a solid track record of successful engagements in previous roles. The Procurement Manager will play a crucial role in supporting and enhancing the procurement capabilities of Procucev.


Qualifications and Skills

  • Minimum of 7 years of procurement experience, with a focus on strategic sourcing and cost management.
  • Strong negotiation skills (Mandatory skill) to secure favorable terms with suppliers and vendors.
  • Proficient in vendor management (Mandatory skill) to maintain and develop long-term relationships with key suppliers.
  • Experience in strategic sourcing (Mandatory skill), ensuring the continuity and quality of supply chain processes.
  • In-depth knowledge of supply chain management to optimize operational efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Ability to conduct thorough cost analysis to identify opportunities for cost savings across procurement processes.
  • Proven experience in contract management to ensure compliance and mitigate business risks effectively.
  • Strong skills in risk management to anticipate and address potential procurement challenges and uncertainties.
  • Capability to perform detailed market analysis to stay abreast of industry trends and supplier dynamics.


Roles and Responsibilities

  • Lead the procurement strategy for Procucev, aligning with business objectives to support growth and efficiency.
  • Manage vendor relationships and negotiation of terms to achieve optimum quality and pricing.
  • Develop strategic sourcing plans to ensure reliable and cost-effective procurement of goods and services.
  • Oversee supply chain operations and provide guidance to team members to enhance performance and compliance.
  • Conduct regular market analysis to assess supplier performance and market conditions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to refine procurement processes and align them with company goals.
  • Identify and manage procurement risks, implementing strategies to mitigate potential disruptions.
  • Prepare and manage procurement contracts, ensuring compliance with legal and company standards.
