Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Mid-Level Java Developer (Backend) to join our team in Bangalore. As a Full-Time employee at Procucev, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our backend operations and contribute to developing innovative solutions. Reporting to the senior management, you will work collaboratively within our dynamic environment to deliver best-in-class procurement solutions.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proficiency in Java 17 with a strong grasp of back-end operations (Mandatory skill).
• Experience with Spring Boot to create microservices-based applications.
• Solid understanding of Hibernate ORM for efficient data access and persistence.
• Expertise in developing and implementing RESTful APIs.
• Familiarity with microservices architecture principles and practices.
• Hands-on experience working with Kubernetes for container orchestration and deployment.
• Experience in using Apache Kafka for building real-time data pipelines and streaming apps.
• Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail and excellent analytical capabilities.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Java applications that are efficient, reliable, and scalable.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Ensure high performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs in the existing codebase.
• Contribute to code reviews, ensuring adherence to best practices and quality standards.
• Implement and monitor automated test frameworks to support continuous delivery pipelines.
• Work closely with the DevOps team to support application deployments and infrastructure improvements.
• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
