Job brief (Responsibilities)

·        Maintain knowledge of all vendor products, pricing, options, finishes, details

·        Provide knowledge of merchandise to customers, explaining complex features and differences between merchandise and providing purchasing advice to customers

·        Assist in the safe maintenance, appearance, merchandising and pricing of store to company and District standards

·        Serves customers by selling products

·        SALES Cross selling products and knowing layout of the store

·        Provide superior customer service and support to designers and end

·        Meet or exceed monthly quarterly and annual sales

·        Provide superior customer service and support to designers

·        Maintain updated customer information including contact data special

·        Enter new clients on customer card, collect Resale form to turn into corporate

·        Request freight updates if ship to changes or expedited freight is required post order

• Run weekly reports, manage open orders, review hold reports
• Follow up on BDNs to collect payments
• Provide tracking updates to clients
• Initiate customer service claims - obtain photos, inform Client Services/Freight team
• Request RA's for rep vendor returns (textiles, leather)
• Expedite replacements (furniture, lighting)
• Provides guidance to other associates in merchandise category as needed
• Is aware of trends and drives new business by engaging with customers and identifying areas of potential sales growth
• Resolve customer issues and escalates issues as necessary to ensure customer satisfaction
• Assist customers with registry creation
• Manage the productivity of other associates within guidance of supervisor
• Escort customers to appropriate merchandise
• Explain basic features of merchandise to customers
• Organize and straighten merchandise areas on the sales floor
• Process customer transactions through the register as required

Experience:

·        Minimum 3+ years of relative sales experience

Qualifications:

·        Graduate or a related field, or equivalent experience

Salary Package:

·        Between 3.0 Lacs to 8.0 Lacs CTC (Negotiable)
