Job Description for Pediatrician and Neonatologist:

Position: Consultant - Pediatrician and Neonatologist

Location:Frazer Town, Bangalore, Karnataka

Responsibilities:

1. Provide comprehensive medical care to infants, children, and adolescents.
2. Conduct regular check-ups to monitor physical and developmental growth.
3. Diagnose and treat common childhood illnesses and injuries.
4. Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement effective healthcare plans.
5. Provide guidance on nutrition, immunizations, and preventive care for children.
6. Specialize in neonatology to care for newborns, especially those born prematurely or with medical conditions.
7. Oversee the care of neonates in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU).
8. Perform and interpret diagnostic tests to assess a child's health.
9. Administer vaccinations and provide education on immunization schedules.
10. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
11. Stay informed about advancements in pediatric medicine and neonatology.
12. Participate in medical conferences, workshops, and continuous medical education.
13. Collaborate with pediatric subspecialists as needed.
14. Provide leadership and guidance to nursing and support staff within the pediatric department.
15. Adhere to ethical and legal standards in the practice of pediatric medicine.

Qualifications:

1. Medical degree with specialization in Pediatrics.
2. Valid medical license in India.
3. Board certification in Pediatrics and Neonatology.
4. Proven experience as a Pediatrician and Neonatologist.
5. Strong diagnostic and communication skills.
6. Compassion and patience when dealing with children and their families.
7. Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
8. Commitment to continuous professional development.
