Job Description: Computer Operator

Key Responsibilities:

1.    Data Entry and Management:

·       Input and update inventory data into the warehouse management system (WMS).

·       Ensure data accuracy and integrity in all entries.

·       Maintain records of received and shipped goods.

2.    Inventory Control:

·       Monitor and track inventory levels to prevent overstocking or stock outs.

·       Assist in periodic physical inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies.

·       Generate and analyze inventory reports.

3.    System Operations:

·       Operate and troubleshoot warehouse computer systems and software.

·       Ensure all systems are functioning properly and report any issues to the IT department.

4.    Support Warehouse Operations:

·       Assist warehouse staff with system-related issues and provide training as needed.

·       Coordinate with the warehouse manager and other departments to ensure smooth operations.

·       Help implement process improvements and best practices for warehouse management.

Qualifications:

·       Education: High school diploma or equivalent; an associate degree in computer science or a related field is preferred.

·       Experience: Previous experience as a computer operator or in a similar role is desirable. Fresher can also apply.

Technical Skills:

·       Proficiency with operating systems (Windows, Linux, etc.).

·       Familiarity with computer hardware and peripheral devices.

·       Basic understanding of networking and data communications.

·       Knowledge of backup and recovery processes.

Soft Skills:

·       Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.

·       Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

·       Good communication and interpersonal skills.

·       Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Working Conditions:

·       May require shift work, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

·       May involve standing for extended periods and occasional lifting of computer equipment.

Experience:
