What you'll do Job Responsibilities

1. Provide design expertise for complex solutions, including configuration and maintenance of application / database servers and processes.

2. Provide design expertise, code, review and modify web APIs (Laravel), according to the requirements.

3. Integrate data from APIs and web-scrapers using backend services and databases (MySQL/ MariaDB).

4. Implement advanced security practices for data handling and provisioning.

5. Work with front-end and database developers to design, implement and debug APIs.

6. Work with Quality Analysts to optimize performance while maintaining high availability.

7. Provide troubleshooting support as needed at the system or software level.

8. Schedule and conduct technical review meetings with the project manager.

11. Maintain an awareness of developments in emerging technologies and disciplines relating to present and future products and solutions through personal research, continuing education, seminars and related activities

Experience

1+ years of experience with scripting (i.e. JavaScript, Python, Bash, etc.) and working from the command line in a Linux environment.

3+ years of experience in working with distributed environments.

3+ years of experience with Laravel framework, Web Services (REST) and API development and integration.

3+ years of experience with MySQL/MariaDB and database concepts like Stored Procedures, Functions, Views, Triggers etc.

3+ years of experience with backend programming (i.e. PHP) and working with libraries to interact with database.

Strong understanding of cross-browser compatibility, general web functions and standards.

Willing to research and undergo training on Al tools and technologies and design and implement advanced research solutions.

Experience with Elastic Search / Data Scraping / React UI / Nodejs / Drupal / AWS cloud-compute environment will be valued.
