Position Overview: 

This role is for one of the team members in sustaining engineering team. The role is to execute projects that comprises of Design, CAD modelling, Reverse engineering, Drawings, BOM restructuring, Reports and product Roll-out activities. This person will be responsible for on time deliverables with quality. 

Key Responsibilities / Functions: 

• Should be from Casting and sheet metal design background 
• Through understanding of fundamentals of Mechanical Engineering 
• On-time project delivery while upholding utmost quality standards 
• Flexible in adapting quickly to changing business needs, tasks, and project priorities 

Required Qualifications: (Education, Technical Skills/Knowledge) 

• Reverse engineering of Casting & sheet metal parts 
• Solid works Parametric model creation from legacy data 
• Expertise in CAD software Solid works only 
• Creation and modifying of 3d model and 2d drawings 
• Knowledge of Standards & Convention related to Engineering drawings 
• Ability to work on BOM management 
• Experience in working in Solid works PDM environment 
• Exposure to engineering/production change management (ECN/PCN) Process 
• Knowledge on Casting/Sheet metal design and manufacturing methods 
• Knowledge in GD&T, and Tolerance stack up analysis 
• Basic knowledge on DFM and DFA
