Role Description:
· Event Planning and Management: Oversee and manage all aspects of event planning, including budgeting, venue selection, logistics, coordination, and scheduling.
· Proposal Development and Presentation: Prepare and present event proposals, tenders, and presentations to government officials and corporate clients. Ensure proposals align with client objectives and specifications.
· Stakeholder Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact between clients, government officers, vendors, and internal teams to ensure smooth communication and timely execution of events.
· Creative Direction: Work closely with clients to conceptualize and design unique and engaging event experiences, ensuring creativity and innovation are at the forefront.
· Team Collaboration: Lead and manage a team of event coordinators, vendors, and other event staff to ensure seamless execution of events.
· Budget Management: Develop and manage event budgets, ensuring costs are kept within allocated limits while delivering high-quality results.
· Vendor Coordination: Source and negotiate with vendors for event services, ensuring they meet quality standards, timelines, and budgets.
· Post-Event Reporting: Evaluate event success through feedback, surveys, and post-event reports. Provide recommendations for future improvements.
· Compliance and Documentation: Ensure all events meet legal, safety, and regulatory requirements. Maintain thorough records of all event planning, contracts, and government communication.
REQUIREMENTS:
· Education: Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, or a related field.
· Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in event management, preferably with experience working on government tenders and events.
· Skills:
Strong presentation and communication skills, particularly in front of government officers and senior stakeholders.
Creative mindset with a keen eye for detail and innovative event design.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while staying organized and meeting deadlines.
