Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Visa Counselor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of visa processes and regulations, strong communication skills, and a passion for helping clients navigate immigration procedures. As a Senior Visa Counselor, you will guide and support clients through the visa application process, providing expert advice, ensuring compliance, and offering tailored solutions to meet their needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive visa counseling services to clients for various types of visas (tourist, student, Spouse etc.)
• Assess client eligibility for visa applications and recommend appropriate courses of action
• Assist in completing visa application forms and ensuring all required documents are submitted
• Stay updated on immigration laws and policies to offer accurate advice
• Conduct client interviews and provide guidance on the visa application process
• Review and evaluate supporting documents for accuracy and completeness
• Liaise with government agencies, embassies, and consulates for visa processing
• Follow up with clients to track the progress of their applications
• Handle complex visa cases and provide resolution strategies
• Maintain accurate and organized client records and documentation
• Train and mentor junior visa counselors and support staff

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
• Proven experience as a Visa Counselor or in a similar role, preferably at a senior level
• In-depth knowledge of visa processes, requirements, and regulations
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Proficiency in using visa application software and tools
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
• Fluency in multiple languages is a plus

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of immigration laws in multiple countries
• Experience in mentoring or managing a team
• Strong customer service orientation
