Job Description:

 

We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Technical Coordinator / Technical Project Manager to join our team.  As the Technical Coordinator, you will be responsible for effectively coordinating and managing various  technical projects within our organisation. Your primary focus will be on listing action items, creating sprint plans, and collaborating with the tech team to ensure successful project execution.

 

Responsibilities:


 Requirements Gathering: Work closely with stakeholders, product managers, and the tech team to gather project requirements. Document and prioritize

these requirements to ensure a clear understanding of project objectives.

 

Dependencies and Roadmapping: Identify  and manage dependencies between different project tasks and teams. Create a roadmap that outlines  the project's timeline  and milestones, considering potential  roadblocks and technical dependencies.

 

Stakeholder Collaboration: Facilitate communication and clarity with stakeholders and technical teams. If there are technical dependencies or uncertainties, schedule meetings or calls with relevant stakeholders to ensure alignment and understanding.

 

Sprint Planning: Collaborate with the tech team to create detailed sprint plans. Break down project tasks into manageable units and assign them to team members based on their expertise and availability. Ensure that sprint plans are realistic and achievable within the specified timeframes.

 

Tracking and Progress Reporting: Monitor the progress of ongoing projects and sprint activities. Regularly update  stakeholders and management on project status, highlighting any risks or issues that might impact the timeline or deliverables.

 

Risk Management: Identify  potential  risks and challenges that could affect project delivery. Develop strategies to mitigate these risks and ensure the project stays on track.


Continuous  Improvement: Encourage and implement process improvements and best practices to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of project delivery.


Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of project details, decisions, and changes to ensure a clear record of project activities.


Requirements:


 ●   Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

●  Proven experience as a Technical Coordinator, Technical Project Manager, or similar role in a technology-focused environment.

●   Solid understanding of project management principles, Agile methodologies, and software development lifecycles.

●  Strong analytical and problem-solving skills,  with an ability to anticipate and address project-related  challenges.

●   Excellent  communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

●  Detail-oriented and capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment.

●  Proficiency in project management tools and software.

●  2-3 years of experience recommended.
