Job Description:

The Insurance Sales Manager is responsible for leading a team of insurance sales agents, setting sales targets, developing sales strategies, and ensuring that the team meets or exceeds their goals. This role involves recruiting, training, and mentoring sales agents, as well as managing the daily operations of the sales department. The Insurance Sales Manager will also maintain relationships with clients, develop new business, and ensure compliance with industry regulations.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Team Leadership:
  • Recruit, train, and mentor insurance sales agents.
  • Set clear sales targets and monitor team performance.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback to team members.
  • Motivate the team to achieve and exceed sales targets.
  • Sales Strategy:
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve company objectives.
  • Analyze market trends and adjust sales strategies accordingly.
  • Identify new business opportunities and develop plans to capture them.
  • Collaborate with marketing to design and implement promotional campaigns.
  • Client Relationship Management:
  • Maintain and build strong relationships with key clients.
  • Resolve client issues and complaints in a timely manner.
  • Provide guidance to the sales team on client management best practices.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Operations Management:
  • Oversee the daily operations of the sales department.
  • Manage the sales budget, including forecasting and tracking expenses.
  • Ensure compliance with all insurance regulations and company policies.
  • Prepare regular reports on sales performance and present them to senior management.
  • Training and Development:
  • Identify training needs and organize training sessions for the sales team.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, products, and competitor activities.
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional development.

Qualifications:


  • Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field. (Preferred)
  • Professional certification in insurance sales or management is a plus.
  • Experience:
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in insurance sales.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Experience in recruiting, training, and managing a sales team.
