Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated TGT English teacher for our Davanagere location. This is a full-time, mid-level position requiring 4 to 6 years of experience. The candidate will be responsible for teaching English to secondary school students, implementing effective teaching strategies, and enhancing students' literacy skills.


Qualifications and Skills

  • Fluency in English (Mandatory skill): Demonstrated ability to speak and write English with high proficiency and accuracy.
  • B.Ed degree (Mandatory skill): Possessing a Bachelor of Education degree, specifically with an emphasis on teaching English.
  • TGT Certification (Mandatory skill): Trained Graduate Teacher certification showcasing specialized training in teaching English subjects.
  • Knowledge of English literature: Extensive understanding of various literature styles, periods, and genres.
  • Experience in lesson planning: Ability to design comprehensive and structured lesson plans aligning with curriculum goals.
  • Effective classroom management: Proven skills in maintaining an orderly classroom environment conducive to learning and student engagement.
  • Assessment and grading: Capable of evaluating student performance through diverse assessment methods and providing constructive feedback.
  • Differentiated instruction: Expert in adapting teaching methods to accommodate varied learning styles and needs of students.


Roles and Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging English lessons in alignment with the curriculum and educational standards.
  • Facilitate student-centered learning while incorporating innovative teaching methods and technology.
