Job Overview

We are seeking a TGT English for our Hubballi location. This is a full-time, mid-level position requiring 4 to 6 years of experience. The role focuses on teaching English to secondary school students, ensuring they gain strong foundational skills in English Literature and language, while fostering critical thinking and analysis.


Qualifications and Skills

  • Proven experience in teaching English Literature and Language to secondary school students for a minimum of 4 years, with a capacity to handle classroom dynamics effectively.
  • Mandatory skills include a strong command over English Literature, a Bachelor of Education (B.ed), and a Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) certification.
  • Expertise in teaching English Grammar, helping students understand and apply grammatical rules in their everyday language usage.
  • Skill in literary analysis, enabling deep dives into texts to unravel complex themes, genre-specific traits, and author intents.
  • Proficiency in curriculum development, designing lesson plans and learning modules that are engaging and aligned with academic standards.
  • Ability to foster critical thinking, encouraging students to question, analyze, and interpret texts thoughtfully and independently.
  • Effective communication skills to articulate ideas clearly to students, colleagues, and parents and deliver feedback constructively.
  • Experience with the latest educational technologies and methodologies for enhancing the learning experience.


Roles and Responsibilities

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver instructional activities that facilitate active learning experiences in English Language and Literature.
  • Develop and implement diverse teaching strategies and lesson plans aimed at catering to the varied proficiency levels of students.
  • Assess and record students’ progress, providing timely and accurate feedback to students and their guardians.
  • Engage students in meaningful discussions to encourage critical thinking and enhance understanding of literature.
  • Collaborate with other educators to create a dynamic and innovative learning environment.
  • Participate in curriculum and program development, ensuring alignment with educational standards and student needs.
  • Organize and lead extracurricular activities related to the English Language, promoting a holistic learning environment.
  • Maintain classroom order and discipline to provide a conducive learning environment for all students.
