Job Overview

Podar Education Network is seeking a dedicated and experienced Teacher to join our team in Panaji. This is a Full-Time, Mid-Level position requiring 4 to 6 years of work experience. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality education in subjects including English and Social Science, ensuring a comprehensive learning experience for our students.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proven experience of 4 to 6 years in teaching in a reputed institution.
• Must have experience as an English Teacher (Mandatory skill)
• Must have experience as a Social Science Teacher (Mandatory skill)
• Excellent communication skills, especially in English.
• Experience as a Secondary School Teacher (SST Teacher).
• Qualification in TGT (Trained Graduate Teacher) English.
• Experience with Primary Teacher (PRT) English.
• Ability to develop a cohesive curriculum that meets educational standards.
• Strong interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans that meet educational requirements and standards.
• Teach English and Social Science subjects to students in a manner that fosters learning and student engagement.
• Assess student performance through various methods to ensure learning objectives are met.
• Maintain active communication with parents about student progress and areas for improvement.
• Participate in faculty meetings and contribute to school improvement initiatives.
• Provide remedial instruction when necessary and support students' individual learning needs.
• Coordinate and manage academic events and activities to enhance learning experiences.
• Stay updated with current educational trends and methodologies to provide innovative learning solutions.
