Job Overview

Podar Education Network is seeking a PRT Teacher for our Shimoga location. This full-time, junior-level position requires a minimum of 1 to 3 years of work experience. The ideal candidate will play a key role in delivering a holistic and empowering learning experience in alignment with Podar's educational values. The selected candidate will be engaged in nurturing young minds and shaping their educational journey within a diverse and collaborative environment.


Qualifications and Skills

  • Proficiency in English (Mandatory skill) is essential for effective communication and instruction in the classroom.
  • Holding a B.ed. degree (Mandatory skill) to ensure adherence to academic standards and pedagogical competencies.
  • Experience in lesson planning to create structured and engaging learning modules aligned with curriculum objectives.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with parents, providing feedback and updates on students’ progress.
  • Familiarity with assessment strategies to evaluate and enhance student learning outcomes and overall academic performance.
  • Experience in curriculum development to support the enrichment of educational content and learning methodologies.
  • Capability to collaborate with colleagues and work towards a cohesive educational environment that fosters growth and learning.
  • Expertise in primary resource teaching (PRT) methodologies, adapting techniques to diverse student needs and learning styles.


Roles and Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that adhere to the educational standards of Podar Education Network.
  • Facilitate classroom activities that foster student participation and cultivate a positive learning environment.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to students and parents.
  • Participate in regular meetings and collaborative projects with fellow educators to enhance curriculum delivery.
  • Adapt teaching methods based on the diverse needs and abilities of students, promoting inclusive education.
  • Coordinate with school administrative procedures to ensure smooth operation of academic schedules.
  • Engage in professional development opportunities to stay current with educational trends and teaching practices.
  • Uphold the values and mission of Podar Education Network in all educational and community interactions.
