Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced English Teacher to join our esteemed institution, Podar Education Network, at our Shimoga location. This is a mid-level, full-time position requiring 4 to 6 years of work experience. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in English literature and possess excellent classroom management and communication skills.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive English lesson plans that align with curriculum guidelines
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere conducive to learning
  • Evaluate and assess students' progress through regular quizzes, tests, and assignments
  • Provide timely and constructive feedback to support student improvement and development
  • Utilize differentiated instruction techniques to meet the varied learning needs of students
  • Organize and participate in extracurricular activities related to English literature and language
  • Coordinate with other faculty members to integrate cross-curricular activities and projects
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student performance and attendance
