Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Biology Teacher to join our esteemed institution in Podar International School, Nagpur Katol Road. This is a full-time, mid-level position suited for individuals with 4 to 6 years of teaching experience. The ideal candidate will be passionate about biology and demonstrate a strong commitment to quality education.

Qualifications and Skills

• Minimum 4 years of experience in teaching biology to high school students
• Possess a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) degree
• Hold a Master of Science (M.Sc) degree, specializing in Biology
• Experience in teaching according to the CBSE curriculum
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Must have skills: Biology (Mandatory skill)
• Required skills: TGT, PGT, Science, B.Ed., M.Sc., Teaching, CBSE
• Strong instructional and classroom management abilities

Roles and Responsibilities

• Conducting biology classes for secondary school students in accordance with the CBSE curriculum
• Planning and delivering engaging lessons that promote active learning
• Preparing lesson plans, teaching materials, and classroom resources
• Assessing and evaluating students' academic progress through tests, exams, and assignments
• Providing additional support and guidance to students as needed
• Participating in parent-teacher meetings and discussing students’ performance
• Staying updated with the latest developments in biology and incorporating new teaching methods
• Maintaining a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation
