Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Art Teacher to join our Podar International School team in Ramanagara. As a Junior Art Teacher, you will be responsible for nurturing and developing students' creative talents and fostering a love for art. This is a full-time position with the required work experience ranging from 1 to 3 years.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proficiency in teaching art subjects to young students (Mandatory skill)
• Strong artistic skills and ability to demonstrate various art techniques
• High level of creativity and imagination to inspire students
• Exceptional patience to handle students with different learning paces
• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and colleagues
• Ability to create detailed lesson plans that meet curriculum standards
• Effective classroom management skills to maintain a conducive learning environment
• Good understanding of art history to provide students with comprehensive art education

Roles and Responsibilities

• Develop and implement engaging art lessons that align with the curriculum
• Encourage students to express themselves through various art forms
• Teach different art techniques and mediums, such as painting, drawing, and sculpture
• Evaluate and provide constructive feedback on students' artwork
• Organize and display students' artwork within the school and at exhibitions
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment
• Collaborate with other teachers and staff to integrate art into interdisciplinary projects
• Maintain and manage art supplies and ensure the art room is a safe space for students
