Job Overview
We are seeking a Junior Admission Counselor for our Miraj location on a Fixed-Term-Employment basis. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of relevant experience and will play a key role in guiding prospective students through the admissions process. This role requires strong communication skills and an ability to build relationships with potential students and parents.
Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum of 1 year and a maximum of 3 years of work experience in admissions counseling or student counseling services.
- Strong understanding of academic counseling processes and the ability to effectively communicate benefits to prospective students.
- Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written, to convey information clearly and professionally.
- Proven ability in managing the admission process efficiently and effectively, ensuring seamless communication between all parties.
- Fluent English Communication skills (Mandatory skill) for effectively engaging with students and parents from diverse backgrounds.
- Experience as an Education Counselor (Mandatory skill) to provide valuable guidance on educational pathways.
- Proficiency as a Student Counselor (Mandatory skill) for addressing various student needs and concerns.
- Skilled in Admissions Counseling to support the enrollment goals of the institution.
- Capability to handle sensitive information discreetly and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Manage and conduct student admissions processes, ensuring adherence to the institution’s standards and procedures.
- Provide counseling to prospective students and their families regarding educational opportunities and pathways.
- Organize and participate in admissions events and outreach programs to promote the institution.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with prospective students to ensure a positive enrollment experience.
- Collaborate with academic staff to ensure accurate and up-to-date program information is communicated.
- Prepare and maintain admissions documentation and records according to policy and compliance requirements.
- Identify and resolve potential challenges in the admissions process to ensure a smooth experience for all stakeholders.
- Regularly update the admissions database and provide detailed reports on application progress as required.
