Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate Admission Counselor to join our team at Podar Education Network in Pune. The position is at a junior level and requires a minimum of 1 year to a maximum of 3 years of work experience. This is a full-time, contract-to-hire role. The Admission Counselor will be responsible for guiding prospective students through our admissions process and ensuring a smooth and positive experience.
Qualifications and Skills
- Excellent communication skills (Mandatory skill) - ability to convey information effectively and persuasively to prospective students and their parents.
- Strong interpersonal skills (Mandatory skill) - ability to build and maintain relationships with prospective students, parents, and staff.
- In-depth knowledge of admissions process (Mandatory skill) - familiar with the admissions procedures and requirements for different educational streams.
- Customer service skills - ability to handle inquiries and provide high-quality service to prospective students and their families.
- Problem-solving skills - ability to address and resolve any issues or concerns that may arise during the admissions process.
- Attention to detail - ability to ensure accurate and complete documentation of admissions records.
- Organizational skills - ability to manage time effectively and handle multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently.
- Sales skills - ability to promote the educational programs and advantages of Podar Education Network to prospective students and parents.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Assist prospective students and parents through the admissions process, providing detailed information and addressing their queries.
- Conduct information sessions, tours, and interviews to promote the educational programs offered by Podar Education Network.
- Manage and maintain accurate admissions records, ensuring that all necessary documentation is complete and up to date.
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate and streamline the admissions process.
- Identify and address any barriers to the admissions process, providing solutions to enhance the experience for prospective students and their families.
- Follow up with prospective students and parents to encourage timely completion of the admissions process.
- Stay updated on the latest trends and best practices in student admissions to continuously improve our processes.
- Support marketing and outreach efforts to attract new students to Podar Education Network.
