Job Overview
We are seeking a Admission Counselor on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will play a key role in guiding students and parents through the admission process while showcasing our diverse educational offerings. Candidates should be adept in marketing and social media advertising to attract and inform prospective families.
Qualifications and Skills
- Marketing skills to promote the school, attract students, and highlight key features of the institution (Mandatory skill).
- Ability to work effectively with students, parents, and school staff.
- Proficiency in social media advertising for targeted outreach and engagement (Mandatory skill).
- Graduate
- Ability to effectively organize tasks and manage time to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently.
- Strong computer skills for data entry, tracking student applications, and using various software tools.
- Excellent customer service skills to address inquiries and provide detailed information to prospective families.
- Experience in event planning to organise campus tours, open houses, and other promotional events.
- Excellent communication skills to clearly convey information to students and parents.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to handle complex documentation and ensure accuracy in records.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Inform and advise prospective students and parents on educational programs, admission criteria, and process.
- Organize and conduct school tours, open houses, and other promotional events to attract new students.
- Manage social media campaigns to increase visibility and engagement with potential students and their families.
- Assist in the application process, including document review, data entry, and follow-up communications.
- Maintain up-to-date records of student enquiries, applications, and admissions statuses.
- Coordinate with marketing team to create outreach materials and promote the school’s offerings.
- Respond to inquiries in a timely, professional, and informative manner.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless admission process and positive experience for prospective students.
- Provide exceptional customer service to parents and students to enhance their experience throughout the admission process.
- Post school events regularly on the school social media pages to keep the page active and relevant. Plan a content calendar to manage posting frequency and variety.
