Job Description: Data Scientist

We are looking for a highly motivated data scientist to develop AI/ML solutions around user identity analytics space for the Aquera Identity Integration Platform as a Service. The data scientist will help us discover the information hidden in vast amounts of data for making smarter decisions to deliver even better products. We are expanding our product to change the way Identity Analytics is managed. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, building and productionizing AI/ML models to solve market disruptive business challenges around the space of user identity analytics.In this role, you should be highly analytical with a knack for research, critical thinking, problem-solving skills and be passionate about building high quality prediction systems integrated with our products. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design and help in the development of various artificial intelligence initiatives to aid different use cases around user identity analytics.
• Build Knowledge graph of user identities for Identity Management and Analytics.
• Prototype and develop end-to-end AI solutions independently. Research about state of the art solutions and novel methods to solve AI problems.
• Creating automated anomaly detection, recommendation systems, threat identification solutions and continuous tracking for improvement in performance.
• Selecting features, building and optimizing classifiers using machine learning techniques.
• Continuous focus on enhancing the performance of current models by new algorithms, re-training mechanisms and data.
• Document use case, data processing, feature engineering, training, validation, deployment, future improvement opportunity and other important aspects.
• Enhancing data collection procedures to include information that is relevant for building large scale analytics engine.
• Understand business use cases and pull the necessary data from various sources to provide key insights to stakeholders. Build and deploy additional functionalities as per customer requirements.
• Present information using data visualization techniques
• Work closely with product and engineering teams to identify and answer important product questions and propose solutions to them.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 3 to 7 years of industry research experience in a computational area such as data science, computer science, machine learning, artificial intelligence or statistics.
• Proficiency in Python (or similar) programming language for data analysis and software development.
• Experience working with Graph Databases
• Experience with data science tools such as PySpark, Scikit-Learn, Keras, Tensorflow, PyTorch.
• Working experience on Natural language processing (NLP), Data mining, Transformers.
• Having strong knowledge in unsupervised learning algorithms using Neural networks and Deep-Learning. 
• Experience building api’s in Flask/Fastapi.
• Familiarity with working in AWS(EC2, S3, Sagemaker) & Data Lake architecture(Lake formation, Glue, Athena / Redshift etc.).
• Good to have : - Experience working with Dynamodb, Opensearch, Postgres.
• Proficiency in SQL, experience working with relational and non-relational databases. 
• Experience of working around anomaly detection, recommendation systems, threat identification and user analytics will be an added advantage.
• Good to have: - Experience in MLops, MLflow, Airflow, Databricks.
• Domain expertise in identity management, identity analytics is a plus.
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
• Fundamental belief in the importance of Integrity, good vibes and good work ethic.
• Poised under pressure and a sense of humor.
• Preferred:-  Experience with Product based companies.
• Bachelor’s or Masters degree in a computational, mathematical, engineering or scientific field.
