Pradhan Mercantile Pvt. Ltd. (PMPL) is a leading Indian manufacturer of quality readymade apparel. The company has been operational for over 2 decades with a workforce of over 2000 skilled employees. The 4 factories located in Bangalore, India houses 1,000 machines with an installed capacity of 4 million pieces per annum, of which approx. 2.5 million pieces per annum are dedicated to wovens and 1.5 million to knits.

Our product range includes woven and knitted garments for babies and children and woven shirts for men. Among the vast range of products, our speciality is woven blouses, tops, dresses, skirts, shirts, nightwear, overalls, knitted tops, tee-shirts and leggings. Since we work with both knitted and woven fabrics, we are amongst the few suppliers who can produce mixed sets and stories.

At PMPL, we use top-of-the-class machinery &amp; equipment to ensure that perfect finish. Apart from the Brother Single Needle sewing machines (including programmable UBTs, etc.), there are a number of specialized machines for a variety of processes which include premium brands like Brother, Typical, Sunstar, Eastman, Pegasus, Kansai, Hashima, Yamato, Wastema, Kanniegieser, Veit Ngai Shing and Ramsons.

<h2>Responsibilities</h2><ul><li>Design compensation and benefits packages</li><li>Implement performance review procedures (e.g. quarterly/annual and 360° evaluations)</li><li>Develop fair HR policies and ensure employees understand and comply with them</li><li>Implement effective sourcing, screening and interviewing techniques</li><li>Assess training needs and coordinate learning and development initiatives for all employees</li><li>Monitor HR department’s budget</li><li>Act as the point of contact regarding labor legislation issues</li><li>Manage employees’ grievances</li><li>Create and run referral bonus programs</li><li>Review current HR technology and recommend more effective software (including HRIS and ATS)</li><li>Measure employee retention and turnover rates</li><li>Oversee daily operations of the HR department</li></ul><h2>Requirements and skills</h2><ul><li>Proven work experience as an HR Executive,&nbsp;<a href="https://resources.workable.com/hr-manager-job-description" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">HR Manager</a>&nbsp;or similar role</li><li>Familiarity with Human Resources Management Systems and Applicant Tracking Systems</li><li>Experience with full-cycle recruiting</li><li>Good knowledge of labor legislation (particularly employment contracts, employee leaves and insurance)</li><li>Demonstrable leadership abilities</li><li>Solid communication skills</li><li>BSc/MSc in Human Resources Management or relevant field</li></ul><p><br></p>
