Project Manager is responsible to handle the construction activities on the site and Manage timely completion of the same.
Project Planning:
· Collect & understand scope of the Project from the Projects Head.
· Study the drawings, report the discrepancies observed and collect additional information required for execution.
· Refer the contract documents if necessary for any clarifications on specifications.
· Study the planning schedule of the project work.
· Prepare the micro level plans, allocate work to Engineers and review the same.
· Explain the site equipment logistics plan to the engineers and get it implemented.
· Ensure that the Quality plan is implemented through the site engineers
· Familiarize & get the various checklists implemented through the engineers.
· Ensure compliance with all the MIS requirements for the project.
· To check the contractor working methodology which should match as per contract or as per code laid by the Indian standards practice.
· Quality control of various materials and maintaining reports of the same.
· Materials schedule by co-ordinating with the contractor.
· Structure check for its correctness as per the drawings.
· Cross check the DPR prepared by the sub-contractor.
· Reporting to the management if there are issues or delays in the company formats.
· Collation of site instructions duly signed and filed.
· Maintaining measurement books duly signed by sub-contractors and project head.
· Cross check sub-contractors billing.
· Priorities safety of working personnel and ensure that the working staff at site are adhering to client safety standards.
· Reporting to management in case of progress delays and delays in prescribed formats.
· In case of quality issues reports needs to be submitted to the project head.
· Co ordination with the contractor for catch up program in case of any delays.
· Billings support to QS as per the requirement.
· Final bills reports and any reworks or defects needs to be reported to the project head.
· Joint checking with the client and addressing the snag list.
· Experience in building Construction company,
· Site Handling, Execution of various projects.
· Day to day planning, scheduling and execution of work.
· Maintaining check list and bar bending schedule.
· Maintaining Quality of work and control wastage of material.
· To execute and to supervise the day-to-day entrusted works as per the approved plans complying with all quality requirements.
· Experience in High Rise Residential & Commercial buildings will be given preference. To effectively manage the resources at site (Staff, Labour, Equipment, shuttering deployed etc) & achieve wastage below permissible limits.
· Develop, implement and improvement of the quality, health, safety and environmental systems in accordance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001
· Its process & procedures to support the business operations should be carried out as per Quality Management Systems (QMS)
Effective Execution:
· Control construction activity at the site for the scope defined
· Ensure timely testing of construction material
· Ensure Project Execution as per the design, drawings and specifications
· Co-ordinate with Project Head for site related issues regarding resources and drawings, materials etc.
· Monitor and record the working of the contractors for adequacy of manpower and workmanship
· Verify & approve the quality and quantity of the incoming material as submitted by the engineer
· Obtain necessary certificates from various consultants at specified stages of the project for records
· Implement safety measures as per the company policies
· Ensure effective housekeeping and storage of incoming materials
· Prepare reconciliation statement of materials on monthly basis
Timely MIS and review of project work:
· Prepare weekly, fortnightly and monthly reports and ensure timely submission to the Projects Head
· Attend all meetings on site if instructed by Projects Head
· Give inputs to the Projects Head for tracking and updating project schedules
· Direct Engineers to take photographs at regular intervals (for records)
Post Construction and Handover activities:
· Rectify the snags identified by the Projects Head or the client
· Attend to client calls during Defect Liability period
· Collate inputs for As Built drawings given by engineers and handover to the Chief Engineer
· Collate operation & maintenance documents and handover to Chief Engineer
· Compile all correspondence and other documents and submit to Chief Engineer
Team Management:
· Allocate work to all direct reporters and evaluate their performance
· Conduct performance appraisal of direct reporters
· Identify training needs and communicate with HRD team
· Review & monitor staff productivity to ensure optimum performance
· Motivate the team and ensure retention and career growth for the team
Skills Required

· IT skills - Good hold in MS office, AutoCAD.
· Teamwork - Excellent team coordinator.
Qualification : Bachelor of Civil Engineering (BE-Civil)/ Diploma In Civil
Experience Required:
10-15 years in site execution
