Job Overview


We are looking for a Banquet Sales Manager/Executive to join our team at Playotel Hotels. As a Banquet Sales Manager/Executive, you will be responsible for generating revenue through banquet bookings and ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction. This is a full-time position with an opportunity to work in a contemporary and fun-focused hotel environment. The job location is Indore, Madhya Pradesh, India. The salary range will be competitive and commensurate with experience.


Qualifications and Skills


  • 1 to 3 years of experience in banquet sales or a similar role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
  • Familiarity with banquet operations and event planning
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field is preferred


Roles and Responsibilities


  • Generate revenue through banquet bookings and achieve sales targets
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients and potential customers
  • Handle inquiries, negotiate contracts, and close sales for banquets and events
  • Coordinate with the operations team to ensure seamless execution of events
  • Ensure the highest quality of service is delivered to customers
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of bookings, payments, and customer details
  • Prepare and present sales reports and forecasts
  • Stay updated on market trends and competitor offerings
  • Contribute to the development of marketing strategies to attract new customers
