Job Overview
We are looking for a Banquet Sales Manager/Executive to join our team at Playotel Hotels. As a Banquet Sales Manager/Executive, you will be responsible for generating revenue through banquet bookings and ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction. This is a full-time position with an opportunity to work in a contemporary and fun-focused hotel environment. The job location is Indore, Madhya Pradesh, India. The salary range will be competitive and commensurate with experience.
Qualifications and Skills
- 1 to 3 years of experience in banquet sales or a similar role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Strong negotiation and closing skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
- Familiarity with banquet operations and event planning
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field is preferred
Roles and Responsibilities
- Generate revenue through banquet bookings and achieve sales targets
- Build and maintain relationships with clients and potential customers
- Handle inquiries, negotiate contracts, and close sales for banquets and events
- Coordinate with the operations team to ensure seamless execution of events
- Ensure the highest quality of service is delivered to customers
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of bookings, payments, and customer details
- Prepare and present sales reports and forecasts
- Stay updated on market trends and competitor offerings
- Contribute to the development of marketing strategies to attract new customers
