Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Warehouse Supervisor to join our team at Plantrich Agritech Pvt Ltd. This full-time, mid-level position is located in Kottayam. The ideal candidate will have 4 to 6 years of relevant work experience in the food production industry.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proficiency in inventory management, ensuring systematic recording and tracking of stock levels and movements.
• Skilled in forklift operation, including loading, unloading, and moving products within the warehouse safely.
• Extensive knowledge of supply chain management principles to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
• Experienced in logistics to manage the flow of goods, coordinate with transporters, and oversee timely deliveries.
• Expertise in warehouse organization for optimal space utilization and easy access to products.
• Strong background in quality control to ensure the highest standards of product integrity and compliance with regulations.
• In-depth understanding of safety procedures to maintain a safe working environment and comply with health and safety standards.
• Experience working in the food industry, with familiarity in handling food products, storage requirements, and safety protocols.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and distribution of products.
• Supervise and lead warehouse staff, ensuring they follow company policies and safety procedures.
• Optimize warehouse layout and space utilization to ensure efficient operations.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular audits to prevent discrepancies.
• Coordinate with logistics teams to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of products.
• Implement and monitor quality control measures to ensure product standards are met.
• Resolve any issues related to the warehouse, such as delayed shipments, damaged products, or safety concerns.
• Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to improve productivity and safety.
