Job Overview

We are looking for a dedicated MEP Project Engineer to join our team in Kottayam on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems for our facilities. This role requires extensive knowledge in various engineering disciplines and experience in project management.

Qualifications and Skills

• Mechanical engineering knowledge to design and maintain systems that are safe, efficient, and reliable.
• Electrical engineering expertise to ensure properly installed and maintained electrical systems.
• In-depth understanding of plumbing design to develop efficient water and waste management systems.
• HVAC systems knowledge to ensure optimal temperature control and air quality within facilities.
• Experience with fire protection systems to design and implement safety measures.
• Understanding of building codes and standards to ensure all systems are compliant with regulations.
• Knowledge of energy efficiency practices to reduce operational costs and environmental impact.
• Strong project management skills to oversee projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely and within budget.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems to meet company standards.
• Coordinate with architects and construction teams to ensure MEP systems are integrated seamlessly.
• Monitor and inspect installations to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
• Conduct regular maintenance and upgrades to existing systems to ensure efficiency and safety.
• Prepare project plans, estimates, and schedules to ensure timely completion of projects.
• Provide technical support and guidance to team members and stakeholders.
• Analyze and resolve any engineering issues that arise during project development.
• Stay updated with advancements in MEP technologies and incorporate innovative solutions.
