Job Description

 

Position Title: Project Head - Large-Scale Community Development

 

Location: Hyderabad

 

Employment Type: Full-Time

 

Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and visionary Project Head to lead the development and management of large-scale community projects spanning over 100+ acres. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in overseeing all phases of large-scale real estate projects, from initial planning through construction and final handover, ensuring the timely and cost-effective delivery of high-quality residential and commercial communities.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

·       Project Planning and Development:

 

-       Oversee the master planning and design of large-scale community projects.

-       Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other consultants to develop project plans and specifications.

-       Ensure the integration of sustainable practices and compliance with all regulatory requirements.

 

·       Project Management:

 

-       Lead the project team, including project managers, site supervisors, and support staff.

-       Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and resources.

-       Implement effective project controls to monitor progress and manage risks.

 

·       Community and Stakeholder Engagement:

 

-       Engage with community stakeholders, local authorities, and residents to ensure project alignment with community needs.

-       Conduct regular updates and communication with stakeholders to maintain transparency and trust.

-       Address community concerns and feedback promptly and effectively.

 

·       Construction Oversight:

 

-       Coordinate and oversee all construction activities to ensure quality and adherence to project timelines.

-       Manage contractor and subcontractor relationships, ensuring adherence to contracts and project standards.

-       Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and resolve issues.

 

·       Financial Management:

 

-       Prepare and manage detailed project budgets, ensuring financial accountability.

-       Identify and mitigate financial risks associated with project development.

-       Work with finance teams to secure funding and manage cash flow.

 

·       Team Leadership and Development:

 

-       Mentor and develop the project team, promoting a culture of excellence and collaboration.

-       Foster a positive and productive work environment.

-       Conduct performance reviews and support professional development opportunities.

 

Qualifications:

 

·       Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Urban Planning, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.

·       Minimum of 10 years of experience in managing large-scale community development projects.

·       Proven track record of successfully delivering projects exceeding 100+ acres.

·       Strong understanding of urban planning, real estate development, and construction management.

·       Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

·       Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure.

·       Proficiency in project management software and tools.

·       Strong financial acumen and experience in budget management.

·       Ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders and communities.

 

Preferred Skills:

 

·       Experience with sustainable development practices.

·       Knowledge of local and regional regulatory environments.

·       Certification in Project Management (PMP) or equivalent.

 

Working Conditions:

 

·       This position requires a significant amount of time on construction sites and may involve travel.

·       Flexible working hours to meet project deadlines.
