Job Summary:
The Operations Head - Telangana / Andhra Pradesh will be responsible for overseeing and managing all operational aspects of Greenland Capital Pvt Ltd's activities within the Telangana region. This role is crucial in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, optimizing processes, and aligning operational performance with strategic goals. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership abilities, a proven track record in operations management, and excellent problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Strategy: Develop and implement operational strategies to support the company’s overall goals, focusing on efficiency, scalability, and quality improvement across all departments within Telangana.
- Process Optimization: Streamline processes to enhance productivity and cost-effectiveness. Identify areas for improvement and implement action plans to optimize operations.
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and manage the operational teams in Telangana. Ensure alignment with organizational objectives, provide performance feedback, and support career development initiatives.
- Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure all operational activities comply with local, state, and national regulations. Manage operational risks and develop contingency plans.
- Budgeting & Financial Performance: Collaborate with the finance team to develop and manage budgets. Monitor performance against budgets and implement cost-saving measures where necessary.
- Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, partners, and regulatory bodies.
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Use data and analytics to monitor performance, drive decision-making, and track KPIs related to operations efficiency and effectiveness.
- Reporting & Communication: Prepare regular reports for senior management, providing insights into operational performance, challenges, and opportunities. Maintain clear communication with all levels of the organization.
- Technology Integration: Work closely with IT teams to ensure the adoption of technologies that enhance operational efficiency, including software tools for process automation and analytics.
- Project Management: Lead key operational projects and ensure timely execution of initiatives that drive organizational growth and profitability.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field. MBA or equivalent preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in operations management, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role. Experience in financial services or capital markets is an added advantage.
