Job Title: Senior QA Consultant (Japanese Language Proficiency)

Location: Bangalore, India

Work Schedule: Regular shift, Hybrid (3 days in office, 2 days WFH)

Budget: 20 LPA

Position Description:

As a Senior QA Consultant with proficiency in Japanese language, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of assigned products and applications. You will collaborate with both internal and external clients to develop and execute test strategies and plans. Working closely with the QA Lead, you will oversee project release testing, analyze test results, and recommend enhancements to improve product quality. Effective communication with project stakeholders is paramount to ensure transparency and timely updates.

Primary Responsibilities:

1. Collaborate with the development team to create, implement, and maintain test documents.
2. Own the execution of tests for assigned projects/features and manage defect tracking.
3. Coordinate defect validation and assist the development team in recreating defects.
4. Liaise with the Japan team to review test cases, test results, and defect reports.
5. Establish and maintain testing environments along with associated test data.
6. Monitor product quality throughout the release life cycle and evaluate readiness for customer availability.
7. Lead the software quality assurance function and provide initial signoff for production system release.
8. Offer post-implementation support for all deliverables.
9. Plan and develop the test automation suite for the project.
10. Communicate task progress and deliverable status to Delivery Managers.

Required Skillset:

1. 5+ years of experience in quality assurance with a solid understanding of testing strategies, processes, and business domains.
2. Demonstrated ability to make data-driven decisions and generate insightful reports.
3. Effective communication skills with diverse teams, both internally and externally.
4. Capability to manage multiple tasks/projects concurrently.
5. Strong ability to thrive in a collaborative environment with demanding deadlines.
6. Hands-on experience with SQL and SQL query tools.
7. Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.

Preferred Qualification:

1. Proficiency in the Japanese language, both written and spoken.
