Job Role:

We are seeking an experienced SQL, PLSQL, Snowflake, and ETL developer to join our team as a Data Engineer. In this role, you will collaborate with a team to design and develop data-driven solutions that provide valuable insights to the business. The ideal candidate should be proficient in SQL and PLSQL, have expertise in Snowflake, and possess strong ETL development skills. This role involves building and optimizing data pipelines, as well as creating automated processes for production jobs. You will work closely with software developers, database architects, data analysts, and data scientists on various data initiatives.

Essential Job Functions:

1. Design, develop, and implement ETL processes using PLSQL programs with Snowflake, ensuring efficient data movement across platforms.

2. Demonstrate outstanding SQL/PLSQL skills and conduct in-depth data analysis on multiple database platforms, with a preference for Oracle.

3. Develop highly complex ETL processes to support data warehouses and operational data stores.

4. Understand data transformation and translation requirements, utilizing appropriate tools.

5. Experience in Data Lake implementation in Snowflake is preferable.

6. Develop UNIX scripts and Oracle packages.

7. Determine appropriate ETL application design based on project requirements, data sources, definitions, relationships, and business rules.

8. Collaborate with project management, analysts, data modelers, and existing ETL developers to contribute to project solutions.

9. Provide technical expertise in ETL design, data modeling, data warehousing, and data integration.

10. Collaborate with Business Intelligence and Business Operational teams to understand data sources and implement new requirements.

11. Analyze and summarize data to facilitate business intelligence decisions.

12. Solid experience in designing and operationalizing large-scale data and analytics solutions on the Snowflake Cloud Data Warehouse.

13. Advanced proficiency in SQL and related-RDBMS query tools.

14. Clear communication of solutions to both technical and non-technical teams.

15. Scripting/Coding experience in Python/UNIX.

Qualification & Experience Requirements:

- B.E/B.Tech/M.E/M.Tech/M.S./MCA or related field.

- 5+ years of experience working with PLSQL/SQL.

- 2+ years of experience with Snowflake (preferable).

- Knowledge in Snaplogic ETL Tool (preferable).

- Familiarity with issue tracking systems like JIRA or Trello.

- Experience working in an agile environment.

Desired Skills:

- Experience in Snowflake.

- Experience in Snaplogic.

- Working knowledge of AWS or Azure.

- Experience in migrating from on-premises to cloud systems.

- Experience in Data Lake implementation in Snowflake (preferable).
