Hiring for QS & Billing(Post-Contract) - MEP to join the contracts/QS team with a leading real estate developer based in Bangalore. You will be responsible for execution of a seamless, risk-averse post-contract management process by structuring, implementing, and ensuring that quality, cost, and timelines for all MEP related services as per company standards. Having a clear understanding of all project related bills, managing timely issuing of work, purchase and change orders to relevant vendors, ensuring proper documentation of all orders, bills and amendments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for issuing work orders for all MEP related services in residential and commercial projects (Complete project lifecycle).
• Set up a reconciliation mechanism for the materials being issued by the client against the work order
• Send certified and approved bills along with the tax invoice to the accounts department for payment on time
• Responsible for purchase order billing for suppliers, consultants and all vendors
• Verify the bill certification against the vendors, ensure IS-1200-codal provisions are present in the bills, and ensure claims are in sync with contracts specifications mentioned in the work order
• Responsible for change order handling incase of changes to work orders post a negotiation of contract is done:
• Responsible for documentation of all internal and external correspondence for faster retrieval

Minimum Requirement:

• BE/B.Tech in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with 6 to 10 years' experience in residential and commercial real estate projects.
• Certification from MRICS/AACE would be a plus.
• PG in construction management will be a plus.
