We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Project Manager to oversee and manage
commercial interior fit-out projects from inception to completion for Bangalore location. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil and interior construction, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality projects on time and within budget. This role requires excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills to coordinate and manage all aspects of the project lifecycle.
Responsibilities:
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation.
- Conduct site surveys and assessments to understand project requirements and constraints.
- Collaborate with architects, designers, and clients to finalize project specifications and designs.
- Oversee daily operations and ensure project activities are aligned with the project plan.
- Manage and supervise on-site construction teams, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Ensure all work complies with safety regulations, building codes, and quality standards.
- Coordinate the procurement of materials and equipment required for the project.
- Monitor project budgets and expenditures to ensure cost-effectiveness.
- Prepare and present financial reports and projections to stakeholders.
- Implement cost control measures to manage project finances effectively.
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, ensuring timely completion of milestones.
- Identify potential delays and implement mitigation strategies to keep the project on track.
- Coordinate and schedule inspections, deliveries, and other critical project activities.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates on project progress.
- Facilitate effective communication between all project stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and team members.
- Prepare and present project status reports, including progress, risks, and issues.
- Identify potential risks and develop contingency plans to mitigate them.
- Resolve project-related issues and conflicts promptly and effectively.
- Ensure adherence to all contractual obligations and manage changes to project scope or specifications.
- Implement quality control procedures to ensure high standards of workmanship.
- Conduct regular site inspections to verify that work is being carried out according to plans and specifications.
- Address any quality issues and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
Minimum Requirement:
- Mechanical or Electrical Engineer with 6 to 12 years of experience in corporate interiors/fitout MEP turnkey projects/Design to build.
- Good communication skills
