Job Overview

We are looking for a skilled Accountant to join our team at Placement Mumbai. As an Accountant, you will be responsible for managing financial transactions, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting regulations. This is a full-time position based in Fort, Maharashtra, India.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proven work experience as an Accountant
• Hands-on experience with accounting software, such as QuickBooks
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations
• Excellent analytical skills
• Attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• Professional certification (e.g. CPA) is a plus

Roles and Responsibilities

• Manage all accounting transactions
• Prepare budget forecasts
• Publish financial statements on time
• Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual closings
• Reconcile accounts payable and receivable
• Ensure timely and accurate tax filings
• Assist with audits and financial audits
• Monitor financial transactions and recommend process improvements
• Produce error-free accounting reports
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders
• Stay updated on accounting principles and regulations
