Job Overview
We are currently seeking a Manager - Planning & Contract Manufacturing to join our team at Pittie Group. This role involves overseeing the planning and execution of contract manufacturing activities for our diverse businesses in the FMCG industry. As a Manager - Planning & Contract Manufacturing, you will play a key role in ensuring optimal production planning, timely delivery of products, and maintaining the highest quality standards.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field
- Proven experience of 4 to 6 years in contract manufacturing and production planning
- Solid understanding of FMCG industry dynamics and manufacturing processes
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively
- Proficient in using ERP systems and other relevant software
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards
- Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
- Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and mentor a team
Roles and Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the overall contract manufacturing strategy in alignment with business objectives
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to determine the demand forecast and production requirements
- Establish strong relationships with external contract manufacturers and ensure adherence to quality and delivery standards
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of contract manufacturers to ensure optimal production output and cost efficiency
- Manage the end-to-end production planning process, including capacity planning, raw material procurement, and production scheduling
- Provide guidance and support to cross-functional teams to resolve any production-related issues
- Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness
- Stay updated with industry trends and innovations to identify opportunities for process optimization and improvement
