Job Overview

We are looking for a Manager - Material Planning to join our team at Pittie Group. As a Manager - Material Planning, you will be responsible for effectively planning and managing the procurement of materials for our operations. This role requires a mid-level professional with 4 to 6 years of experience in material planning and a strong understanding of supply chain management.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field
• 4 to 6 years of experience in material planning or supply chain management
• Strong knowledge of supply chain concepts, including demand forecasting, inventory management, and procurement
• Proficiency in using material planning software and ERP systems
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong negotiation and supplier management abilities
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional environment
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Knowledge of FMCG industry and market trends is a plus

Roles and Responsibilities

• Develop and implement material planning strategies to optimize inventory levels and ensure timely availability of materials
• Monitor and analyze demand patterns to forecast material requirements
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand production plans and align material procurement accordingly
• Identify potential suppliers and negotiate contracts to ensure competitive pricing and quality materials
• Monitor supplier performance and develop strategies for supplier relationship management
• Coordinate with logistics and production teams to ensure seamless material flow
• Manage inventory levels, including stock replenishment and obsolescence management
• Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures
• Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in material planning and supply chain management
