Qualifications and Skills

• Effective vendor management skills to identify, evaluate, and engage suppliers that meet the company's standards and project requirements.
• Proficiency in contract management, including drafting, reviewing, and negotiating terms to ensure compliance and risk mitigation.
• Extensive knowledge of civil construction materials and their specifications to ensure appropriate procurement.
• Experience in handling purchase documentation, ensuring all procurement records are precise and up-to-date.
• Expertise in site procurement strategies, focusing on timely and cost-effective sourcing to meet project deadlines.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Oversee the procurement of construction materials and services for site operations, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project specifications.
• Develop and maintain effective relationships with vendors and suppliers to secure advantageous terms and reliable supply chains.
• Conduct negotiations and finalize procurement contracts, ensuring terms align with the company's interests and regulatory requirements.
• Manage inventory levels to prevent shortages and excesses, coordinating with project managers and site engineers.
• Monitor market conditions and trends to make informed purchasing decisions and forecast future procurement needs.
• Prepare and review procurement documentation, including purchase orders, contracts, purchase requisition and delivery logs, maintaining accurate records.
• Collaborate with site managers to anticipate procurement needs and address any issues related to material supply.
